About Purple Lotus Pet Care
Purple Lotus Pet Care is a family owned and operated business run by me, Laura Holt, along with my mother, Kimberly. We are taking our combined experience with and love for animals to provide the best possible care your furbabies when you are not home. We see our pets as an extension of our family and will treat yours' as if they were our own.
Laura
I have been pet sitting and dog walking since high school but after college my career took me down a different path to law enforcement in Vermont. After spending 10 years in Vermont, I relocated back to my home town of Lakeland, FL and decided to take my passion for animals to the next level by starting Purple Lotus Pet Care.

I am the owner of 2 rescue cats and 3 rescue dogs, a chiweenie (Chihuahua/dachshund), rat terrier mix and a papillon/dachshund mix. I always had dogs and cats growing up. There were a menagerie of other animals as well at all times in our home. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR so know that your furbabies will be safe in my care. When I'm not pet sitting or dog walking, I'm working on my photography or competing in the Scottish Highlands Games as a thrower.
Kimberly
I am Kimberly and an avid animal lover. I was born and raised in Nashville TN and I love hiking with my dogs and swimming. I had dogs growing up and can not imagine life without my fur babies.
When my three children were young, we moved to Lakeland FL and they loved being active outdoors. As they grew up, we had all sorts of pets such as dogs, cats, mice, ball pythons, newt, fish and a hairless rat. The snakes were not my favorites but the kids loved them. I love taking care of dogs and cats and look forward to spending time with your furbaby. I am married to an amazing man, Richard, and we live in Lakeland Highlands with our three dogs.
